Cowork is Anthropic’s visual surface for knowledge work rather than code — multi-step tasks, sub-agent coordination, document and research workflows — and it is included with all paid plans: Pro at $20/month, Max at $100 and $200 tiers, and Team.
One behavioural detail worth knowing since Claude Fable 5.1 went GA on September 1, 2026: it defaults to High effort in Claude Code and Medium effort in Cowork.
